Welcome to Heritage Meat.

Heritage Meat is the culmination of my lifetime’s fascination and lived experience with beef breeds and genetics, global farming practices, and cookery.

A career change in 2021 allowed me to move into the supply of exceptional beef to many of New Zealand’s finest restaurants, luxury lodges and private chefs. The best chefs understand the need for absolute quality, authentic provenance, and genuine points of difference.

In 2024, Heritage Meat opened its doors in Taupo as an Artisan butchery. I have surrounded myself with butchers who are craftsmen, and Heritage Meat has rapidly gained a reputation as the very best of the best. Care, precision, and pride in every product, ensuring every cut is sourced, aged and crafted to the highest standard.

Now, we proudly present our offering to those further afield seeking the exceptional.
